Mountview Christian Preschool's curriculum is faith-based and fosters spiritual, physical, mental, emotional, intellectual, and social development of the child. We base our academic standards on those set in place by the Ohio Department of Education for Preschool or Kindergarten Learning. Mountview Christian Preschool's curriculum is developed around themes which provide opportunities for children to learn about God's word and which incorporate Ohio's academic content standards. Activities which embrace physical, social, emotional, intellectual, and spiritual development are included with every theme that is explored. The thematic units are designed to help lay a foundation for understanding God, Jesus, Bible, church, self, family, others, and the natural world in which they live. We strive to meet children where they are along their personal continuum of development and take them as far as they can go in an atmosphere of love, confidence, and mutual respect.
