Mountview Christian Preschool's curriculum is faith-based and fosters spiritual, physical, mental, emotional, intellectual, and social development of the child. We base our academic standards on those set in place by the Ohio Department of Education’s Early Learning Content Standards. Mountview Christian Preschool uses Creative Curriculum for its academic program with classrooms designed around interest centers. The Tommy Nelson Read and Share Bible Curriculum is also incorporated into the daily program. Activities which embrace physical, social, emotional, intellectual, and spiritual development are included with every theme that is explored. The thematic units are designed to help lay a foundation for understanding God, Jesus, Bible, church, self, family, others, and the natural world in which they live. We strive to meet children where they are along their personal continuum of development and take them as far as they can go in an atmosphere of love, confidence, and mutual respect.
